RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead teams focused on process improvement to achieve targeted results.
- Apply lean techniques to review processes and develop standardized work procedures.
- Mentor associates with lean principles and best practices.
- Provide technical support and information to plant management as needed.
- Advocate for cultural shifts necessary to foster continuous improvement, even if it means challenging the status quo.
- Identify and present improvement opportunities to department heads for evaluation and action.
- Collaborate with Operations Management to develop and implement global plant continuous improvement plans and support local projects that align with these plans.
- Oversee and contribute to continuous improvement projects across various organizational units and processes beyond manufacturing/operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related technical field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a continuous improvement role within a manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles, including TPS (Toyota Production System).
- Six Sigma certification is preferred, but not required.
- Familiarity with Toyota Kata is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in project management, focusing on efficiency and waste reduction through Kaizen initiatives.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
