Responsibilities
- Manage and revise Bill of Materials (BOM) processes.
- Conduct comprehensive cost model testing and analysis.
- Advise on cost/quality, new product development, process efficiencies, and cost standards.
- Collaborate with the estimating department to optimize costing efficiencies and identify waste reduction opportunities.
- Monitor and analyze performance in assigned areas/suppliers, focusing on gap analysis and target performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of cost/pricing experience
- Background in finance, supply chain management, or commodity management
- Familiarity with machining and fabrication processes is advantageous
- SAP preferred
- Ability to generate bottom-up cost estimates based on manufacturing processes
