RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage overall plant production and operations.
- Address customer inquiries regarding job status.
- Coordinate machine scheduling based on production requirements.
- Plan and schedule preventative maintenance for machines and facilities.
- Ensure proper maintenance of machinery and work areas.
- Analyze production records and documentation to enhance plating efficiency.
- Schedule and oversee tank maintenance to maintain chemical effectiveness.
- Maintain and repair auxiliary equipment, including plating bath filters, heat exchangers, and chemical feed controllers.
- Work with the laboratory to recommend chemical additions.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance Director to adhere to ISO standards and requirements.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
- Participate in management meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- At least 5 years of experience in the metal finishing or electroplating industry.
- Experience with various types of plating is essential.
- CEF certification is a plus.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with a focus on organization, self-motivation, and safety.
- Proficiency with computers.
- Mechanical and chemical troubleshooting skills.
- Forklift operation experience and safe driving practices.
- Ability to understand and follow written instructions.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Flexibility in working hours based on production needs.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is advantageous.
