RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Quality Manager must ensure quality conformance through inspections, documentation, compliance reports, and welding certifications.
- Review project requirements and create detailed inspection plans.
- Include critical inspection points for in-process and final completion.
- Must oversee inspections as per the Quality Control Manual.
- Ensure critical points are inspected to minimize rework.
- The Quality Manager must conduct inspections as needed.
- Maintain welding procedure and certification records.
- Must ensure accurate inspection reports for surface preparation, paint, and final completion.
- Submit weekly project completion summaries to the President.
- Report errors in Shop Management and document issues.
- Recommend corrective actions as needed.
- The Quality Manager must familiarize with customer specifications and report on shop compliance to the President.
- Inspect critical items upon receipt as per the Purchase Order and project drawings.
- Act as the main contact for all quality-related issues.
- Create and maintain inspection and test procedures in line with industry standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- The Quality Manager must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Must have 5+ years of work experience from a metal/machine fabrication/welding industry
- Must have 2+ years of leadership experience.
- Must have experience in ISO 9001
- The Quality Manager must be flexible to some weekend hours as needed.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Must relocate prior to joining.
