RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Healthcare Finance Manager must deliver the highest-quality financial strategic and functional accounting guidance for the company’s clients.
- Must provide recommendations to optimize efficiency, manage risk, maintain compliance, and improve the quality of delivering healthcare services.
- Must prepare and present accurate, well-supported financial analysis to senior executive management and community health center boards of directors.
- Prepare financial reports for key internal stakeholders and external compliance/regulatory bodies.
- Must develop modelling tools that accurately forecast financial outcomes.
- Create detailed budgets that are fully compliant with funding requirements and support strategic goals.
- The Healthcare Finance Manager must perform data-driven analysis of healthcare utilization and costs, reimbursement/billing issues, population health and clinical outcomes, productivity patterns, variations, strategic trends and identify root causes.
- Must provide excellent client experience, document recommendations in reports.
- Create funding opportunity responses that are competitive and compliant with offering guidelines. Write grant narratives.
- Project manage complex tasks, communicate with clients and turn complex ideas.
- Must be willing to travel, as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- The Healthcare Finance Manager must hold a Bachelor’s degree.
- Master’s Degree/MBA preferred.
- Must have 4 years’ experience in healthcare finance working with data and financial analytics projects. Experience with healthcare billing/coding is a PLUS.
- Must have prior Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or Community Health Center (CHC) experience to be considered for this position.
- Must have 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Strong attention to detail in writing, analytics, and compliance.
- Must be proficient in Excel. Tableau a plus.
- Ideally located on the East Coast and must be willing to travel when needed.
