RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Associate Director of Scientific Affairs & Clinical Nutrition must provide medical and scientific review for, educational slides, information for healthcare professionals, and the review of consumer care marketing materials.
- Manage the process and collaborate with Innovation, Research and Development, Marketing and Regulatory daily to develop supportive language for claims which will provide differentiation in the market.
- Establish and maintain relationships with healthcare practitioner schools. Explore and support product education through available school channels.
- Support development and education for Student Representative Programs with healthcare practitioner schools.
- Must represent the company at medical meetings, trade shows, advisory boards, meetings at key institutions, and in interactions with KOLs or other medical professionals.
- Coordinate with Clinical development, R&D, Commercial, and Regulatory teams in the substantiation and development of supportive language for product claims.
- Produce position papers on scientific and medical content regarding Company products, competitors' products and clinical trials, regulatory guidelines, etc.
- Develop a plan for working with KOLs and maintain strong relations with these KOLs.
- Respond to HCP technical product questions that are beyond the scope of Customer Care Team knowledge.
- The Associate Director of Scientific Affairs & Clinical Nutrition must support the marketing department. customer care team answering technical questions regarding consumer products.
- Creates product presentation slides for salesforce.
- Must coordinate with the events team, for industry specific events, tradeshows etc.
- Contribute to clinical trials and support IRB submissions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- The Associate Director of Scientific Affairs & Clinical Nutrition must have an advanced degree such as MD/DO, ND, NP, MPH, PharmD, PhD in Nutrition
- Must have strong knowledge on Nutraceutical development and research for health care professionals and consumers.
- Must have 10-15 years of experience from a nutraceutical background.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years managerial and supervisory experience.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be willing to work onsite full-time.
