JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage Accounts Receivable processes, including invoice creation, posting, cash receipt application, and collections as necessary.
  • Perform intercompany reconciliation of payables and receivables with affiliated companies.
  • Supervise all aspects of Accounts Payable, including matching receivers and purchase orders, posting to the general ledger, preparing remittances, and liaising with the bank for positive pay.
  • Oversee the company's credit card transactions, ensuring proper coding and accurate documentation.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of sales tax documentation.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate financial transaction records.
  • Reconcile AP and AR subledgers with the general ledger on a regular basis, but at least monthly.
  • Regularly reconcile received-not-invoiced (RNI) accounts, with a minimum monthly review.
  • Prepare and post various journal entries to the general ledger as needed.
  • Lead the management of the inventory cycle count program.
  • Assist in preparing for annual audits
  • Update and maintain an organized internal records system.
  • Comply with all relevant federal, state, and private regulations.
  • Ensure adherence to local laws for accurate reporting.
  • Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and compliance.
  • Carry out additional duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must have GED or High School Diploma
  • Must have a fundamental understanding of accounting principles and best practices.
  • Must be strong in data entry abilities.
  • Must be available up to 15 hours a week
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel.
