Job Responsibilities:
- As directed by the Lab Manager, conduct specialized analytical testing for troubleshooting methods, new products, or products still in development.
- Accurately document all results according to the company’s best practices and instructions.
- Analytical tests will directly support engineering trials and cleaning validations.
- Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed.
- Utilize knowledge of lab instruments, gas chromatography (GC), and high-pressure liquid.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on instruments such as FTIR, UV/Visible Spectrophotometry, and Chromatography (HPLC).
- Routinely perform analytical chemical testing on various products submitted to the laboratory.
- Analyze raw material in bulk samples, or process batches.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as an analytical lab chemist.
- Experience utilizing FTIR, UV/Visible Spectrophotometry and Chromatography (HPLC).
- Ability to analyze raw material in process batches.
