RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor and maintain application performance, system health, and security.
- Provide first and second-level support for all application-related issues, resolving them in a timely and efficient manner.
- Work closely with the development and operations teams to implement and support new applications and updates.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for application configurations, processes, and support procedures.
- Develop and implement training programs for end-users to enhance their understanding and efficient use of applications.
- Coordinate with external vendors and support teams for issue resolution and system enhancements.
- Participate in the planning and execution of application projects, including upgrades and migrations.
- Implement and advocate for best practices in application support, including change management and incident response protocols.
- Analyze trends in application support requests to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions to enhance performance and user satisfaction.
- End-user support for Windows, Desktop applications including Microsoft365 applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and several Enterprise Applications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in application support, IT support, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of software applications and information systems.
- Experience with SQL and database management.
- MS365 office application expertise and experience supporting end users.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, .NET, or Python is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement in both technical and soft skills.
