RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate activities for construction project
- Conduct and attend preconstruction meetings
- Prepare submittals and RFI’s Analyze shop drawings
- Travel to project sites and obtain measurements
- Review and update project schedule as needed
- Work alongside Project Managers and Superintendents
- Assist with ensuring projects are completed on schedule
- Assist with project closeouts
- Communicate with equipment vendors
- Maintain updated project documentation
- Maintain knowledge of Sage, Timberline, AutoCAD
- Perform materials takeoffs
- Deliver regular progress reports to management
- Other tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required
- Ideal Assistant Project Manager will have minimum 5 years’ experience
- Must have construction industry experience
- Experience with public infrastructure projects
- Experience with earthwork, pipe and concrete
- Familiarity with Sage and Timberline
- Ability to work overtime when needed
- Willing to take a drug screen and undergo a background check
