RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Assistant Project Manager will communicate with municipal agencies when needed.
- Prepare project proposals to present to architect.
- Communicate with stakeholders to provide project updates as needed.
- Review and analyze invoices from suppliers.
- Perform quality audits to make sure customer specifications are met.
- Validate the results of planning phase.
- Ensure strategies are aligned with long-term company goals.
- Maintain timeline for project, meet deadlines and stay within budget.
- Establish and allocate resources needed to complete the project.
- Maintain knowledge of commercial and residential construction procedures.
- Maintain log of project schedule, timeline, work performed, etc.
- Other tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Minimum 2 years of Project Management Assistant experience
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and Sage 300
- Experience with risk management and process management
- Experience within a construction operation desired
- Ability to manage and monitor KPI’s
- Ability to engage in strategic thinking with long-term goals
- Understanding of OSHA standards
