RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Associate Director, Trade Relations must maintain and develop strategic customer relationships with retailers and specialty distributors.
- Must negotiate contract terms with all retailers and specialty distributors.
- Must identify new business opportunities, increase product penetration in non-contracted GPOs and Health Systems.
- Must be responsible and monitor inventory levels at major retailers weekly.
- Take corrective action when stocking issues are observed, as necessary.
- Must identify overstocks and short dated inventory with major partners.
- The Associate Director, Trade Relations must work on new contracts, must conduct timely and effective business review meetings, strategic planning meetings and resolve any customer service-related issues.
- Do extensive market research.
- Must work with the management team to achieve product launches and achieve all-quarterly and annual targets.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- The Associate Director, Trade Relations must hold a Bachelor’s degree.
- Must have 10+ years of strong pharmaceutical trade relations background.
- Must have held a senior designation for 5+ years from a pharma industry.
- Must have extensive experience in establishing retail partnerships.
- Must have strong analytical skills for long term and short-term goals.
- Strong communication skills.
- Must be proficient in MS Office suites.
- The Associate Director, Trade Relations must be willing to travel - 30-40%
- MUST be Fully Vaccinated to work onsite.
- Must hold a valid U.S. Driver’s License
