RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Associate Medical Director must lead medical and clinical operations for blood donation, blood product manufacturing, and lab services.
- Collaborate with national experts in blood medicine, public health, and product development.
- Oversee therapeutic apheresis programs, research, and community health initiatives.
- The Associate Medical Director must support educational and scholarly partnerships with the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- The Associate Medical Director must hold an MD or DO
- Must have 10+ years of experience as a Medical Director or Fellow in a regional blood center or hospital blood bank
- Must have experience with clinical or AP/CP Pathology, Hematology, or related specialty
- The Associate Medical Director must have a fellowship in Blood Bank/Transfusion Medicine.
- Must have excellent communication, interpersonal and computer skills.
- Must be willing to work on weekends/holidays, as needed.
