RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Contribute to the development of technical documents and reports.
- Assist engineers with civil grading design for substation sites.
- Support engineers in the steel design for high-voltage substation sites.
- Utilize various applications to produce drawings, reports, and other technical deliverables tailored to project specifications.
- Assist in the development of preliminary and final layouts, design concepts, and detailed drawings from technical notes.
- Ensure adherence to company and industry standards.
- Utilize CAD software, including AutoCAD and SolidWorks, to create technical drawings.
- Collaborate with engineers and other professionals to produce drawings that align with their specifications.
- Prepare technical documents such as material lists and cost estimates.
- Verify that all drawings are precise and adhere to industry standards.
- Maintain a repository of standard drawing templates.
- Revise existing drawings as new information or updates are provided.
- Other tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- Must have certification in AutoCAD Design.
- Grading, drainage, site layout, erosion, sediment control, etc.
- Experience in substation physical design desired.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
