RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and construct equipment to meet project deadlines effectively.
- Produce electrical drawings and wiring diagrams for the assembly of control panels.
- Program and integrate various automated systems including Allen Bradley PLCs, Fanuc robots, UR collaborative robots, Keyence vision systems, HMIs, and related components.
- Innovate and execute equipment modifications and enhancements to support new projects.
- Collaborate with designers to propose drawing enhancements based on industry best practices.
- Establish and document standardized procedures for equipment development, testing, and training.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment and process issues, supporting maintenance efforts as needed.
- Establish, update, and disseminate operational and production protocols.
- Foster teamwork, responding promptly to inquiries from engineering and business teams.
- Advocate for compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
- Fulfill all additional responsibilities as required and assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS Engineering preferred
- 5+ years of relevant experience (in a manufacturing environment) preferred
- Experience with programming Allen Bradley PLCs and HMIs, Fanuc Robots, and UR Robots.
- Must have knowledge of measurement and sensor technologies
- Must be proficient with Autodesk Electrical and Autodesk Inventor
- Must have strong electrical and electrical aptitude; desire to work in a “hands-on” environment.
- Must have strong troubleshooting skills.
