RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training processes.
  • Manage employee records and documentation in compliance with federal, state, and company regulations.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and issues, providing guidance and support in both English and Spanish.
  • Coordinate and administer employee benefits, programs, and events.
  • Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure all employees are treated fairly and consistently.
  • Facilitate communication between management and employees, helping to resolve work-related conflicts.
  • Assist with payroll processing by providing relevant employee information (e.g., leaves of absence, sick days, work schedules, and hours worked).
  • Organize and maintain HR department records and reports.
  • Participate in safety meetings and contribute to safety initiatives.
  • Assist in compliance with all legal and regulatory compliance requirements related to HR.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Two-year Accounting or Administrative Assistant associate degree or equivalent required; or 3+ years related HR experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven experience as an HR coordinator or relevant human resources/administrative position.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish – both written and spoken is essential.
  • Strong ability in using MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular).
  • Experience with HR databases.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle data with confidentiality.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
