Responsibilities:
- The Broadcast Engineer must install, repair, operate, and maintain TV and radio station equipment.
- Troubleshoot and fix equipment issues.
- Maintain transmitters and manage equipment repair and inventory logs.
- The Broadcast Engineer must train operators in equipment use and perform related tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- The Broadcast Engineer must have 2 years of college, military, or tech school education.
- Must have 2 years of experience in Broadcast Station Operation and maintenance.
- Knowledge of basic networking, Zixi streaming, Comark TV transmitters, and Gates Air FM transmitters.
- The Broadcast Engineer must be proficient in PC, IT, broadcast routers, video multi viewers, and spectrum analyzers.
- Experience with Wide Orbit radio automation and CAD programs.
- Electronics training (military, trade school, or college degree) required; IP Broadcasting knowledge is a plus.
- Strong computer, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- The Broadcast Engineer must be well-organized, self-directed, and capable of working independently and as a team player.
- Ability to manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks
