RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with suppliers and vendors
- Process purchase orders
- Review Bill of Materials
- Coordinate efforts planning department
- Ensure items are delivered on schedule
- Obtain competitive pricing for graphic cards
- Purchase materials and components needed for graphic cards
- Negotiate with vendors and suppliers
- Obtain best delivery times
- Conduct inventory management
- Research and obtain new suppliers
- Prepare buying reports
- Utilize Epicor system to analyze data
- Order new materials ahead of shortage
- Other tasks as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- Ideal Buyer will have minimum 2 years’ experience
- Experience with Epicor
- Experience purchasing materials for graphic cards
- Experience negotiating with suppliers
- Willing to undergo background check and drug screen
