RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The CNC Machinist II will perform preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Maintain inventory log of parts pertinent for equipment maintenance and functionality.
- Locate spares to eliminate equipment downtime.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
- Maintain knowledge of in stock materials and report needed supplies to supervisors.
- Perform production equipment repairs.
- Communicate with external vendors.
- Communicate needed budget for materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Repair CNC machinery including hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, etc.
- Utilize hand and power tools.
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and company policies.
- Utilize MS Word and Excel when needed.
- Other tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Ideal CNC Machinist II will have minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Machine shop experience preferred.
- Extensive experience with CNC machines (turning and milling experience).
- Must be vaccinated against COVID19.
- Willing to take a drug screen and background check.
