RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The CNC Operator Interprets drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations and setup measurements.
- Responsible for quality parts produced on CNC machines such as but not limited to lathes and milling machines.
- Connect with supervisor, engineers, production control, quality, and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues.
- Rectify equipment malfunctions or out of tolerance machining and adjusts machine, within capabilities, controls or control media as required to ensure quality of production.
- Marks dimensions and reference points on material or work pieces as a guide for subsequent machining.
- Responsible for quality parts produced on CNC machines such as but not limited to lathes and milling machines.
- Carry out basic preventative maintenance functions on equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 8+ years of experience as CNC operator
- Machine Experience: Haas VF5, Haas Lathe ST35Y
- Understanding of usage with Master Cam software
- Have own equipment.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to interpret AutoCAD and Solid works drawings.
- Pass background check and pre-employment screenings.
