RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Read and analyze blueprints to reach correct part dimension for tool selection
- Interpret blueprints to calculate accurate machine speeds and feed rate
- Set up and operate CNC equipment when needed
- Make mechanical adjustments to ensure quantity standards
- Cultivate CNC programs using Partmaker, MasterCam and GibbsCAM
- Configure tools
- Ensure efficient production
- Utilize GD&T reading capabilities
- Recommend improvements to engineering for processes
- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers, fixtures, gauges, etc.
- Other tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate’s degree, Technical Certification or equivalent experience required
- Ideal CNC Programmer will have minimum 3 years’ experience
- Must have knowledge of G-code and M-code programming
- Adept at selecting tooling and machining resources
- Familiarity with Partmaker, MasterCam and GibbsCAM
- Willing to take a drug screen and complete a background check
