Responsibilities:
- Manage all setup and quality operations related to machining.
- Complete any paperwork required, including process sheets.
- Place stock in position for loading feed mechanism.
- Log production and quality actions.
- Comply with OSHA requirements with well-implemented safety standards.
- Measure dimensions; detect malfunctions; comply with quality assurance procedures and process by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting operations, such as turning, facing, knurling, and thread chasing.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Graduate from a technical school in machine tooling is preferred.
- 2+ years of previous machining experience
- 1+ years of experience as machinist.
- Ability to read directions, job orders, measuring instruments, blueprints, and specifications.
- Ability to communicate with other personnel is required.
- Self-motivated and self-disciplined.
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Pay rate: 30/hr DOE
