RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform regular maintenance and repairs on CNC machines to prevent downtime.
- Assist in setting up CNC machines, including selecting and installing the correct tooling for new jobs.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and programming issues, implementing solutions to minimize production delays.
- Collaborate with the production team to optimize machine performance and improve manufacturing processes.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repair, and setup activities.
- Train and support CNC operators on new machines and processes.
- Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with company safety policies and OSHA standards.
- Stay up to date with the latest CNC technologies and maintenance practices to enhance machine efficiency and reliability.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience as a CNC Technician or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of CNC machine mechanics, electronics, and programming.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Experience with troubleshooting and repairing CNC machinery.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in CNC technology, mechanical engineering, or related field preferred.
