RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must be able to drive the company’s financial planning.
- Must be able to perform risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities and investments.
- Must be able to control and evaluate the organization’s fundraising plans and capital structure.
- Must participate in the financial and operational decision-making processes.
- Must be able to manage relations with vendors.
- Must work directly with all other departments in various capacities.
- Must direct and coordinate all the activities concerned with financial administration, including the supervision of accounting, admitting, credit and collection, maintenance of fiscal records, receipts and disbursements, payroll, insurance and other third-party payor claims.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
- CPA Preferred.
- Must have 5+ years of experience in Accounting.
- 3+ years of experience in Healthcare/Hospital setting performing finance and/or accounting job duties.
- 5+ years of progressive managerial experience in an acute care environment required.
- Must have experience working on Microsoft Office Suite, finance/general ledger and databases.
