RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must be able to drive the company’s financial planning.
- Must be able to perform risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities and investments.
- Must be able to train subordinates in the required areas and monitor performance to ensure fiscal responsibilities are fulfilled.
- Must provide formal or informal direction in data processing, distributed systems, material management and medical records functions.
- Must prepare cash flow analyses and budget variance analyses.
- Must be able to control and evaluate the organization’s fundraising plans and capital structure.
- Must participate in the financial and operational decision-making processes.
- Must be able to manage relations with vendors.
- Must recommend budget modifications as required.
- Must work directly with all other departments in various capacities.
- Must directs and coordinates all the activities concerned with financial administration, including the supervision of accounting, admitting, credit and collection, maintenance of fiscal records, receipts and disbursements, payroll, insurance and other third-party payor claims
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
- CPA Preferred.
- Must have 5+ years of Accounting experience in Healthcare/Hospital.
- Must have FQHC experience.
- Must have experience working on Microsoft Office Suite, finance/general ledger and databases.
