RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and Supervise: Oversee a team of project managers, ensuring effective management of quality control, budget adherence, scheduling, and safety compliance to achieve project objectives.
- Safety Oversight: Implement and enforce safety protocols in accordance with Federal OSHA regulations and local standards.
- Provide ongoing training to ensure a safe working environment for employees, subcontractors, and material suppliers.
- Subcontractor Management: Develop and sustain strong relationships with high-quality subcontractors to support long-term construction schedules.
- Manage vendor selection, maintain a robust vendor network, and negotiate favorable pricing terms.
- Cost Estimation: Determine area-specific cost figures for all assigned communities to provide accurate financial assessments.
- Pricing Coordination: Manage and update product quantities and bids to ensure precise pricing estimates.
- Document Acquisition: Oversee the collection of all necessary permits and approvals from local municipalities to facilitate construction activities.
- Supervise construction phases to adhere to production schedules.
- Maintain daily contact and communication to ensure timely progression and sequencing of all construction activities.
- Long-Range Planning: Develop and manage long-term schedules for the orderly construction and delivery of homes within the assigned operations.
- Goal Alignment: Collaborate with management to align with company objectives, encompassing land acquisition, site development, sales, design, settlement, and warranty services.
- Other tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- 5 years of experience in Construction Management required.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Experience with customer relations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
