RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for overseeing staff on construction site and for
- Handle project’s schedule
- Order materials
- Ensure project timeline is met
- Maintain records for personnel
- Create field reports
- Lead and manage the on-site construction team and oversee all work on site
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Ensure quality standards are met
- Ensure necessary equipment and materials are available on-site
- Communicate with inspection authorities regarding approvals
- Attend project meetings
- Maintain awareness of budget
- Maintain knowledge of construction codes
- Answer any questions from Project Managers
- Other tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate’s degree required
- Ideal Construction Superintendent will have minimum 5 years’ experience
- Experience within a commercial construction company desired
- Supervisory experience
- Understanding of construction codes
- Experience with managing a construction site
- Willing to take a drug screen and background check
