Job Summary: The Continuous Improvement Engineer drives Lean strategies and metrics to support manufacturing operations. This hands-on role requires a Lean leader with a manufacturing background, skilled in identifying and implementing operational improvements. Success depends on the ability to lead change, foster buy-in, and manage continuous improvement initiatives in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • The Continuous Improvement Engineer must develop and execute Lean strategies to achieve safety, quality, profitability, waste reduction, OEE, and team excellence.
  • Lead the planning and execution of improvement projects focused on performance, safety, quality, and cost reduction.
  • Promote and enhance quality processes and results.
  • The Continuous Improvement Engineer must facilitate Kaizen events and conduct 30, 60, and 90-day post-event reviews for sustainability.
  • Create and deliver training materials on Continuous Improvement (CI) concepts for staff.
  • Maintain strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications:
  • The Continuous Improvement Engineer must hold a Bachelor’s degree or an Associate’s degree.
  • Must hold Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.
  • Must have 3+ years of experience leading Kaizen events and teaching Lean tools.
  • The Continuous Improvement Engineer must have 4+ years in continuous improvement or project management.
  • 5+ years in a manufacturing environment (Industrial, Chemical, or Materials Engineering preferred).
  • Experience with change management and problem-solving.
  • The Continuous Improvement Engineer must have strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
