Responsibilities
- Identify and execute process enhancements, refine methods, and strengthen controls within production operations.
- Plan, design, implement, and manage integrated production and service delivery systems that assure performance, reliability, maintainability, schedule adherence, and cost control
- Proficiently applying Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques to both variable and attribute data processes.
- Establish new manufacturing systems and modern manufacturing practices, such as, but not limited to: Kanban inventory, 5S, lean, TAKT time analysis and line pacing, Six Sigma problem solving and resolution techniques, and statistical process control.
- Focusing on labor reduction through process automation and tooling improvements
Qualifications
- Mechanical Engineering Degree
- Experience in a manufacturing industry.
- Understanding the functions of both Corporate and Plant departments, their interdependencies, and their impact on plant operations
- Adapting to a dynamic, fast-paced, and physically demanding work environment
