RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Continuous Improvement Leader is responsible for conducting root cause analysis, process optimizations, and quality control procedures
- Must ensure quality standards, processes and product quality is consistent and maintained
- Must address customer complaints and quality issues, as needed
- The Continuous Improvement Leader must lead the site towards continuous improvement initiatives
- Must participate and lead team meetings, provide trainings and responsible for the hiring process
- Maintain safe work standards that meet legal requirements
- The Continuous Improvement Leader must assist the Site QMS Representative in assuring ISO9001 standard requirements are met
- The position requires occasional travel
QUALIFICATIONS:
- The Continuous Improvement Leader must have a Bachelor of Science degree
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant manufacturing experience from a paper manufacturing industry
- A Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt certification and/or CI/Lean experience is needed.
- The Continuous Improvement Leader must have at least 2+ years of leadership experience
- Excellent communication, project management and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, Minitab, and SharePoint
- Must be willing to travel.
