RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Controller reports directly to the CFO
- Must be responsible for the accounting operations of the company, including financial reports, maintaining accounting records, and developing a comprehensive set of controls and budgets mitigating risk, enhancing financial results, and ensuring that reported results comply with GAAP.
- Must issue complete financial statements, financial management reports for internal and external use.
- Responsible for cash management and risk management/assessment.
- Must oversee the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure to meet the department’s goals and objectives.
- The Controller must support the annual budgeting process, the annual Financial Audit and reconcile key General Ledger activity monthly.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- The Controller must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
- Must have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in an accounting position.
- Must have B2B distribution experience.
- Must come from a construction/ construction equipment background.
- The Controller must have 5+ years of supervisory experience from the relative background.
- Must have robust knowledge of GAAP and General Ledger.
- Must be proficient using Excel, ERP/MRP and other financial software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
