Responsibilities:
- Oversee the activities of the finance department for the accurate and timely distribution of financial management reports including, but not limited to, the consolidation of and distribution of internal and external monthly financial statements, annual audits, and annual budgets.
- Maintain internal control and safeguards for receipt of revenue, costs, budgets, and actual expenditures.
- Implement processes to control manufacturing costs and maintain systems to monitor profitability.
- Recommend and help develop accounting processes, systems, and controls to scale with business growth, including documentation of policies and procedures.
- Partner effectively with other finance team members and non-accounting functions to drive improved controls and process enhancements.
- Further development and optimization of accounting instruments and processes (production cost accounting, cost center accounting, KPI systems, profitability calculations, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, and CPA or MBA preferred.
- Knowledge of U.S./Canadian (GAAP) and ERP automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
- 7 years of financial leadership in a manufacturing environment required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Results-oriented focus and excellent communication skills.
- Able to analyze information and utilize time management.
