RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Supervise electrical and controls personnel and operations.
  • Allocate electrical resources efficiently for optimal MDF site performance.
  • Oversee high, medium, and low voltage activities to minimize downtime.
  • Develop and maintain electrical maintenance systems.
  • Collaborate with production teams to address manufacturing equipment issues.
  • Assist the maintenance planner in scheduling preventive maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex equipment issues, including Siemens PLCs, servo drives, process controls, and electrical schematics.
  • Maintain and optimize PC process controls.
  • Utilize WinCC for data collection and productivity reporting.
  • Design and implement control systems to enhance machine efficiency and product quality.
  • Provide after-hours support for complex maintenance issues.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control-related machine problems.
  • Ensure proper machine setup and adherence to OEM specifications.
  • Perform timely and cost-effective repairs while tracking parts and costs accurately.
  • Analyze breakdowns to prevent recurrence and communicate unresolved issues for further maintenance.
  • Monitor equipment performance to identify potential failures or inefficiencies.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum 5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of PLC controls experience (Siemens preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with servo drives and process controls.
  • Two-year technical degree in manufacturing controls (or 5 years of equivalent experience).
  • Basic computer proficiency for work order and parts management.
  • Lean Six Sigma experience (Green Belt or higher preferred).
  • Proficiency in Siemens software (Step 7, TIA Portal, WinCC).
  • Knowledge of Allen Bradley (AB) PLC software.
  • Experience in HMI programming and system integration.
