Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with production, electrical teams, and managers to resolve equipment issues and complete preventive maintenance.
  • Diagnose and repair complex equipment issues, including PLCs, servo drives, and electrical systems, adhering to OEM specifications.
  • Provide after-hours support for shift maintenance to resolve urgent equipment issues.
  • Ensure timely, cost-effective repairs while properly documenting parts and adhering to safety and company policies.
  • Monitor equipment operations, report inefficiencies or breakdown risks to managers, and communicate unresolved issues daily.

Qualifications:
  • Must have a two-year technical degree, or High School/GED with relevant manufacturing controls experience.
  • Must have at least three years in manufacturing maintenance and one year of experience with Allen Bradley Control Logix 5000 PLCs is preferred. Minimum three years of experience with industrial electrical systems (motors and controls).
  • Exposure to loud noise (up to 87 decibels), extreme temperatures (up to 110°F), and varying environmental elements (sun, rain, confined spaces). Ability to work independently, multitask, and make quick decisions in a challenging environment.
  • While multilingual communication is valued, proficiency in English is required for effective verbal and written communication to complete tasks.
  • Must be able to stand for a full shift, climb stairs, squat, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs. Occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, and specific vision abilities required. The role also involves operating HMIs, using radios, and walking throughout a 12-hour shift.
  • Must be willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts with occasional call-ins.
  • Travel for training may be required, and basic computer skills are needed for work order and parts management.
