Responsibilities:
- The Cost Accountant II will be responsible for supporting month-end closing activities including the plants’ monthly variance.
- Manage standard cost process for the site by accurately costing multiple finished goods on periodic and annual basis.
- Cost Accountant II will promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and commitment to quality.
- Prepare and analyze cost reporting.
- Assist with costing at other facilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting with emphasis in general cost accounting areas.
- 3 years of costing experience in manufacturing company
- The Cost Accountant II will have strong reconciliation, analytical, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft office, Excel, general Ledger systems, and Power BI reporting.
- Knowledge of ERP systems
- Ability to travel Minimal when required.
