RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for providing financial analysis of manufacturing processes and direct labor to drive key business performance indicators.
- Perform inventory accounting and inventory reporting for key product lines.
- Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics.
- Prioritize objectives and implement strategies to achieve company initiatives as part of the leadership team.
- Responsible for managing the yearly standard cost roll process from beginning to end.
- Frequent communication with various other personnel in the factory related to ad-hoc costing inquiries.
- Participation in monthly cycle counts as needed, as well as quarterly physical inventory.
- Monthly closing activities, including journal entries and reporting.
- Special projects as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, or related field.
- Thorough knowledge and in-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Procedures (GAAP).
- Minimum of 2+ years of cost accounting experience and in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficiency with Excel and applications such as pivot tables, data sorting, sale-calculation report creating.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets.
- Strategic vision with the ability to execute.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and negotiating skills.
