JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Research, analyze, and resolve customer deductions related to shortages, reclamations, damages, and returns with accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure timely submission of unauthorized deductions within the dispute timelines set by the customer.
- Process Credit/Debit adjustments for Marketing Rebates and Food Show deductions.
- Provide necessary documentation to comply with departmental and audit requirements.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales team to keep contracts updated.
- Continuously follow up with customers to ensure repayment of deductions.
- Notify upper management and sales teams of any trends in customer deductions.
- Enter invoices into customer portals for payment processing.
- Scan and file invoices and Bill of Lading through document imaging.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have 3-5 years of deductions experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Experience with Aspen/Canopy ERP systems is a plus.
- Prior experience in the food industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with marketing agreements is an advantage.
- Strong computer skills, with the ability to analyze data and solve problems effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
