Responsibilities:
- Create detailed and itemized work orders for completed tasks.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
- Inspect trucks and notify the Service Manager of any issues that may fail inspection.
- Use advanced diagnostic tools to accurately identify truck problems.
- Perform additional maintenance tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Must have a high school diploma/GED.
- Must have a valid Driver License
- Must have at least 1 year of repairs and services experience on diesel and heavy equipment and 5-7 years of maintenance experience
- Knowledgeable in heavy-duty equipment such as front-end loaders, forklifts, and skid steers.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Basic understanding of hydraulics is an advantage.
- Physically able to lift 50 pounds without assistance.
- Effective in both written and verbal communication.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision; reports directly to the Fleet Maintenance Supervisor.
- Able to prioritize tasks and adhere to specified procedures.
- Willingness to work all shifts and overtime when needed
- Must have a personal set of tools.
- Available to work occasional weekends as required.
