RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee daily operations across Pre-Press, Sheetfed Lithography, Digital Printing, Finishing, Bindery, Assembly, Mailing, Buyout, and Shipping departments.
- Collaborate with the Scheduling team to create and manage detailed daily production schedules that align with the plant's overall schedule commitments.
- Develop and implement training and development programs for staff, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to succeed, and provide ongoing feedback.
- Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives by focusing on corrective and preventive actions, process enhancements, KPIs, TPM (Total Productive Manufacturing), and quality system improvements.
- Create and manage a comprehensive Equipment Preventive Maintenance Program.
- Lead and engage in company Safety and LEAN programs, enhancing safety awareness, conducting safety audits, and improving housekeeping.
- Enhance the customer experience by ensuring high product quality, reducing costs, and exceeding customer expectations.
- Work closely with Project Management and Sales teams to provide job updates and manage scheduling.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and monitor KPIs for all areas of responsibility.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in managing staff and resources within the industry.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Print Manufacturing.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Print Management or related field preferred, or equivalent business experience and training.
- Extensive knowledge of Commercial Printing, Bindery, and Finishing processes.
- Experience with Print Industry ERP systems; familiarity with Pace is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exposure to ISO certification is advantageous.
