RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Director of Materials oversees all activities related to procurement
- Oversees and directs the work of storeroom and central supply personnel
- Overviews market trends and delivery conditions
- Develops systems for evaluating vendor quotes and procurement reporting
- Maintains suppliers who provide quality products
- Reviews and prepares bids, contracts, proposals, and vendor agreements
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- CPM Certification preferred
- 8+ years of experience as a Materials Manager
- 5+ years of experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment required
- Understands Market trends, procurement, and reporting
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications
