RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Managing all purchases and contract negotiations
- Oversee the planning and management of product flow.
- Oversee distribution of supplies in the organization
- Creating purchasing and procurement policies
- Select and Negotiate with Vendors
- Supervise, evaluate and coach subordinates.
- Maintain relationships and negotiate with suppliers.
- Oversee the sourcing of all materials and equipment.
- Keep detailed records on procurement activity, materials quantity, specifications etc
- Assist in forecasting to plan future orders.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or technical field
- 10 plus years of procurement experience in Nutraceutical or Pharma Manufacturing Industry experience
- Develops a purchasing strategy
- Strong knowledge of Nutraceutical Industry suppliers and products
- MRP software
- Proficient in MS Office
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
