Requirements
- Directs Purchases Activity: Ensures compliance with company objectives and policies.
- Establishes Goals and Objectives: Aligns departmental goals with the Company’s objectives.
- Leads Process Reviews: Recommends changes to enhance internal productivity and process quality.
- Facilitates Supplier Selection: Negotiates contracts for strategic initiatives.
- Analyzes and Recommends Policies: Ensures compliance with legal requirements and Corporate goals.
Qualifications
- At least 10 years of successful procurement / supply chain management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Must have international purchasing experience and would have supplied material for multiple plants.
- Electrical and/or plastics experience would be a plus.Â
- Must have knowledge of sound procurement practices of raw material, distribution, and manufacturing processes.Â
- Must be familiar with principles of transportation and have knowledge of forecasting.Â
- Able to analyze data and financial information.Â
- Ability to manage people, build teams, and communicate effectively.Â
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree.
Salary: $110K-$125K (DOE)
