RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and provide on-going direction to drivers by setting clear expectations regarding safety, operational targets, and customer on-time performance.
- Provides accurate, timely and complete movements and daily driver updates.
- Coordinates equipment maintenance problems with the appropriate members of the maintenance department.
- Receive and maintain communications with crews regarding job status, problems, customer satisfaction, payment, etc.
- Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as required by the management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma required.
- 5+ years of Dispatcher experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Able to analyze information and utilize time management.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and learn quickly.
- Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail.
- Excellent phone and active listening skills.
