RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Electrical Control Engineer must be able to provide support to mid-scale projects in regard to development and implementing new manufacturing technologies.
- Must be able to solve problems and utilize technical knowledge to get to the root cause of a problem rather than simply identifying symptoms
- Must be able to modify electrical designs, layout, and support the build of custom control systems/panels using a combination of PLC programming and electrical panel design and layout
- Must be able to maintain and modify existing process control systems
- Must be able to develop electrical control panel drawings and generates bills of material
- Must support the design engineer on projects while working with minimal supervision
- Must be able to work on existing production equipment and troubleshoot issues
- Other tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BSEE or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Control Engineer.
- 2+ years of experience of PLC programming using Rockwell software (Studio 5000, RSLogix 5000, 500, 5, programming knowledge preferred).
- Must be proficient in the application of AC, DC, and Servo Drives.
- Recent AutoCAD experience required
- AutoCAD Electrical experience is preferred.
- Must have good understanding of NEC code and compliance.
