RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze test data from tests performed
- Create test reports
- Determine if design meets performance specifications
- Assure the manufacturability of electrical systems and related sub-systems
- Maintain process records, schematics drawings
- Maintain SOP’s, prototype, and fixture drawing
- Provide technical assistance to tooling suppliers
- Assist production in pinpointing root causes of manufacturing issues
- Conduct MultiSIM, Proteus, CircuitLOGIX, XSPICE analysis, etc.
- Engage in the Sig Sauer NPI process
- Engage in continuous improvement projects
- Maintain 5S standards
- Cultivate innovative electrical component and assembly designs
- Develop designs using Altium
- Develop PCBA layout drawings
- Perform component and assembly tolerance analysis
- Process PCBA's using the PLM system.
- Assist with R&D projects
- Adhere to all safety and ISO procedures
- Travel as needed
- Other tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering field required
- Ideal Electrical Engineer II will have minimum 2 years’ experience
- Must have Altium experience
- Experience in C/C++ development environments
- Familiarity with PCBA fabrication using Altium
- Adept at utilizing LabView
- Able to travel as neededÂ
- Willing to take a drug screen and complete a background check
