Responsibilities:
- Help improve complex product lines pertaining to design and manufacturing capabilities
- Evaluates and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications to E&A equipment, such as PLC’s, drives, etc.
- The ability to analyze root causes of problems and failures recommending and providing solutions to improve uptime efficiency
- Driving employee engagement within the Company's continuous improvement processes by promoting collaborative teamwork and maintain open lines of communication with other departments
- Will maintain checklists for safety systems to guarantee optimal safety system operations
- Preparing Electrical drawings, specifications, calculations, charts, and graphs
- Utilizing lean manufacturing practices
Requirements:
- 3 years of electrical engineering experience within an industrial environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or any other related field
- Proficient in Siemens PLCÂ
- Experience working with aluminum manufacturingÂ
- Skilled with troubleshooting and handling any electrical issues
- Highly skilled in lean manufacturing and six sigma practices
- Ability to provide technical training that involves mechanical systems and functions
- Detailed oriented and being able to establish engineering guidelines
- Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills
- Experience in reading blueprints and drawings
