Responsibilities
- Design and Engineer Microprocessor-Based Circuit Boards: Create microprocessor-based, mixed-signal circuit boards for seamless integration into Beck products.
- Develop Embedded Software in C: Write embedded software in C to control Beck actuators and facilitate communication with external systems.
- Prototype Testing and Guidance: Assemble and test prototype circuits, providing guidance to designers and technicians during the building process.
- Document Product Details: Prepare comprehensive product documentation, including user instructions, project logs, test reports, and design evaluations.
- Support Manufacturing and Existing Products: Assist with product commercialization, bills of materials, documentation, and test fixtures, while also providing engineering support for existing products.
Qualifications
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in either Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
- Experience: Over 10 years of hands-on experience with electro-mechanical applications.
- Theoretical Foundation: Possess a solid theoretical background in relevant engineering principles.
- Technical Expertise:
- Circuit Board Design: Proficiency in designing circuit boards, generating schematics, and using PCB layout tools such as Orcad or Altium.
- Servo Mechanisms: Familiarity with both open-loop and closed-loop servo mechanisms.
- Motor Design: Experience in designing motors.
- Inverter Development: Knowledge of inverter development.
- Power Supply: Competence in power supply development.
- Industrial Process Control: Understanding of industrial process control systems.
