- Drafting project proposals, securing authorizations for services, formulating budgets, and compiling reports.
- Developing work management and resource allocation strategies, along with comprehensive budget planning.
- Endorsing departmental engineering efforts and ensuring all work meets technical standards, while facilitating regular discussions with leadership and project teams about ongoing projects and timelines
- Delivering client presentations, fostering ongoing relationships, advising on additional work and associated costs, aiding in subcontractor selection, and overseeing project invoicing and payment collection in collaboration with financial departments
Qualifications
- B.S. Civil Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer license
- Possessing a minimum of a decade’s expertise in the design of roadways, conducting traffic impact assessments, creating traffic signal plans, engineering public storm sewer systems, designing ADA-compliant ramps, submitting PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permits, and overseeing the construction of highways and bridges.
- Experience in mentoring and coaching junior staff.
Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D - Valid driver's license - for travel to client sites/meetings
