Responsibilities:
- The Equipment Maintenance Manager will oversee the setup, cleaning, and maintenance of production equipment for high-quality personal care products. This hands-on, management-focused role requires leading a team of 3-5 technicians to ensure smooth operations and efficient production.
- The Equipment Maintenance Manager will supervise and guide a team in machine setup, changeovers, and cleanouts, while actively participating in operations.
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment such as liquid fillers, cappers, labelers, and sealers, ensuring top performance.
- Develop and implement a robust maintenance plan to minimize downtime and address issues quickly.
- The Equipment Maintenance Manager will enforce cGMP standards, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and proper documentation always.
- Use expertise in mechanics and electrical systems to quickly resolve equipment issues and maintain production flow.
Qualifications:
- The Equipment Maintenance Manager must hold a minimum Associate’s degree.
- Must have 7+ years of experience in equipment maintenance, from a personal care manufacturing (soap, shampoo, liquid detergent, powder etc.) background.
- Must have 5+ years of supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of liquid filling systems, cappers, labelers, and other manufacturing equipment. The Equipment Maintenance Manager must have knowledge of cGMP standards and commitment to safety and cleanliness.
- Some experience with PLCs and technical machine programming.
