Responsibilities:
- Perform quality control checks in accordance with company policy and procedures, and ensure production meets quality standards at all times.
- Assist with installing equipment, machines, wiring or programs to meet specifications.
- Assist in determining causes of operating errors and making recommendations to correct errors.
- Interprets drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations and setup measurements.
- Adjust operations machines and equipment as needed to correct quality and production issues.
- Assist in troubleshooting process problems and performing maintenance to ensure continued operation of the machines and equipment.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 3+ years of structural steel, process piping, and fabrication experience.
- Proficient reading drawings and specifications with an understanding of geometric tolerance and dimensions.
- Previous experience with MS Office, Excel, and Word.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and learn quickly.
